To retrieve the password that you lost go to Registry Edit - regedit
 1) open the registry editor
 2) select the ODBC folder under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE

You can export this
 3) export (xxx.reg file)
 4) Import it into the registry on a different machine and reboot..
